Deloitte Cybersecurity Threat Analyst in Arlington, Virginia

Work you’ll do

  • Understand host-based visibility - what actions are being taken by a malicious actor at the host level, the various environments across the .gov; conduct proactive analysis by using information flowing into host-based tools to help us look for adversaries

  • Define strategic outcomes for CSD cyber defense operations in support of federal network and critical infrastructure resilience; validate and document issues inhibiting collaborative, coordinated, and optimized cybersecurity operational activities.

  • Complete an Indications & Warning framework, begin execution of a new interagency cyber threat response pilot, and have greater integration with intelligence partners; develop an effective indications and warning framework focused on National Critical Functions that supports the ability for key elements of information to be shared between the government and State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT), and private sector stakeholders in a timely manner

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4 years of experience working in an organization focused on understanding malicious actors in cyberspace.

  • Must have deep understanding of host-based visibility.

  • Must have experience working with the interagency and the IC on cyber threat responses.

  • Must have experience coordinating with SLTT and private sector stakeholders, in response to cyber threats.

  • Must have an understanding of government networks and critical infrastructure.

  • Experience with Cyber Assessment.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employee sponsorship, now or anytime in the future.
