Cloud AWS Developer

Work you’ll do:
Work with clients to understand and solve their most pressing business and technical challenges while leading a diverse talent group in support of Federal and State Government agencies. Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients’ technology leaders and help guide clients’ Cloud vision. Create new opportunities to showcase Cloud technologies and capabilities for our clients. Help lead our Cloud practice, develop our future Cloud leaders, and expand the Deloitte Cloud brand throughout the public sector marketplace.
Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our clients’ end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.
Cloud Engineering supports our clients by improving agility and resilience, while identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation. We advance our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators, to achieve their vision.
As a Consultant in our Practice you will:
The AWS Cloud Developer will assist with the development and deployment of the enterprise solution in the AWS Cloud environment
Strong knowledge and established experience in S3, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and other AWS services
Strong OOP experience (in C# using .NET Core and Webforms (experience preferred))
Consulting experience or experience working directly with end users of your software
Background working in an Agile methodology to develop software
Fluency with CI/CD tool sets such as: Jenkins, Ansible, Cloud
AWS certification is preferred and/or hands-on AWS implementation experience
Strong verbal and oral communication
In depth knowledge of AWS IaaS and PaaS services
Well versed with Cloud design patterns
Designing and developing of automation tools and infrastructure to run service-oriented stacks on internal data centers, Public & Private Clouds
Experience in a large-scale Cloud (Private and/or Public) environments and SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS pattern development by using AWS
Knowledge in Infrastructure automation, build automation and deployment automation
Experience in SCRUM Methodology for Agile Development
Experience designing and developing Cloud infrastructure in AWS
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
Possess and maintain the required Security Clearance
5 or more years of experience leading large-scale technology transformations, migrations, and/or implementations
3 or more years of experience with Cloud technologies
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
