Deloitte Business Systems RPA Analyst in Arlington, Virginia

At Deloitte, you will maintain a solid knowledge base of the functional capabilities of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for the GPS Business Systems Team. As an RPA Analyst, you will interface with internal clients to define and document requirements and implement solutions primarily consisting of UI Path-based process automation.

The team

The GPS Business Systems group supports the GPS Practice's information technology systems by:

  • Eliciting and managing requirements for changes to existing GPS Business Systems.

  • Acting as the voice of the business in ITS development sprints .

  • Facilitating approval of requirements with the Functional Leaders.

  • Facilitating the proper participation and socialization of change requests.

  • Monitoring the business requirements from design and development through testing and deployment to ensure business expectations are met.

  • Heavily participating in functional testing.

  • Issue identification, explanation, and resolution.

  • Acting as the integration point between ITS and the business in order to provide the right person to make the right decision.

  • Working with the business to document changes to current business practices and assist in process re-engineering efforts.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience working on engagements that have incorporated Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with one of the market leading RPA platforms: UI Path, Automation Anywhere, and/or BluePrism

  • Coding knowledge of SQL, VB.NET.

  • 4 years of experience in information technology field.

  • Experience in process design and process improvement experience a plus

  • Advanced written, verbal analytical and communications skills required

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills

  • Basic client interaction skills

  • Working knowledge of analytics, data management, statistics, , and computer applications a plus

  • Ability to coordinate and work effectively with teammates, end-users and leadership

  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment

  • Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job

  • Familiarity with agile project methodology

  • Familiarity with systems development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Up to 10% travel may be required

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for the role

Preferred:

  • Experience with cognitive automation applications (ex. Kira, chat bots, Workfusion, IP Soft, MS Skype bot extenders)

  • Experience working with SQL Servers and Oracle databases

  • Experience in report and dashboard development using various BI tools such as IBM Cognos, Tableau, Qlik
