Deloitte Service Now Developer Senior Manager in Albany, New York

Work you'll do:

Deloitte provides comprehensive configuration, development, and operational services for the ServiceNow platform and all its related products. The Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) products are the focus of the client's immediate and long-term needs. As a ServiceNowDeveloperyou will be a key member of the overall client project team working to implement and configure ServiceNow for one or more applications mentioned.Some your daily activities in this role will include:

  • Implement ServiceNow Application(s) throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle.

  • Design and build systems integrations through various methods (Web services, LDAP, SQL, APIs)

  • Develop customizations such as building workflows, importing data, integrating withexternal data sources via API's and scripting, customizing the screens, forms and lists, building reports and dashboards, configuring groups and role access.

  • Configure out of the box ServiceNow solutions to meet client's business needs.

  • Evaluate ServiceNow platform performance, debug software problems, and make recommendations for problem resolution.

  • Work with clients to identify target use cases for automation, as well as defining and documenting business and functional requirements for software development.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business or any Technology discipline, Mathematic, Engineering or Information Management Systems

  • 7+ years' experience the following:

  • Designing/architecting and implementing automation solutions for risk management and security operations processes.

  • Implementing ServiceNow Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC)/Integrated Risk Management (IRM.) and Security Operations solutions solution.

  • Hands on experience in development, support, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.

  • Leading a team of developers and technical resources to deliver integrated solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Experience with production implementation, business requirements, business processes and system requirements gathering

  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Can manage large, agile teams, meeting deliverable timelines, and meeting quality and risk expectations.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to develop talent is required.

  • Possess or ability to obtain & maintain security clearance.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications as a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in one or more ServiceNow products: GRC/IRM, ITAM/CMDB.

  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to thrive in ambiguous situations. •

  • Able to engage with customers to understand, gather and document requirements. •

  • Excellent team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and craves situational awareness.

  • Ability to take a broad view of his/her position and take initiative to communicate, interact, and cooperate with others to ensure that all aspects of a task are addressed.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and a proven ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.

  • Able to engage with customers to understand, gather and document requirements.

  • Excellent team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and craves situational awareness.

  • Ability to take a broad view of his/her position and take initiative to communicate, interact, and cooperate with others to ensure that all aspects of a task are addressed.

  • Previous consulting experience.

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and a proven ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
