Work you'll do
Provide health information technology standards based subject matter expertise to the team
Conduct message content reviews during testing and validation
Understand HL7 implementation guides and provide guidance to implementation teams
Participate and document client healthcare standards working group meetings
Develop organizational processes, draft new standard operating procedure (SOPs)
Document weekly progress of the project via status reports and call logs, and facilitate tracking of critical risk and issues

Bachelor's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
3+ years of experience in public health or Health IT
3+ years of experience with using HL7 standards and data formats such as v2, eICR 1.1, CCDA, FHIR etc
Experience with HL7 public health workgroups
Background in communications, knowledge management tools, Customer Relationship Management tools and continuous business process improvement
Prior experience with Electronic Case Reporting (eCR), EHR vendor or product teams (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech, ect), public health informatics, public health reporting, ELR, Syndromic Surveillance, HL7, HIEs, eHealth Exchange, Direct Trust, Carequality, CommonWell
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,000-$208,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
