Audit: The Audit & Assurance (A&A) Talent Development Center of Excellence (COE) manages a diverse portfolio of customized and off-the-shelf learning solutions to develop skills/capabilities professionals need to execute A&A business strategy.
We have two open Lead Specialist roles in our Technical Excellence Portfolio. Lead Specialists will work collaboratively with a global team of learning professionals and A&A subject matter experts to support execution of needs assessment, program design, development, and delivery (including learning administration).
Consulting: The Consulting Development Center of Excellence supports the development of 80,000+ consulting professionals across the US and India. Offering differentiated practitioner development that includes continuous, relevant, and tailored learning experiences, the COE builds the capabilities needed to transform businesses, advance careers, and connect in a technology-driven world.
Deloitte Leadership and Human Potential: The DLHP organization addresses skills development to enable business performance and the growth of our professionals' human potential. DLHP aims to serve leaders at all levels via three areas of leadership skills development: Foundational Leadership, Marketplace Leadership and Human Potential. DLHP is in the business of enabling human-oriented leaders to bring their best selves to work, life, and community.
Deloitte Technology Academy: With a team of 150+, DTA trains tens of thousands of learners annually in critical technology skills including AI, Cloud, Cyber, Data & Analytics, custom development, and package technologies. Candidates with experience and passion for tech skilling will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders to design, develop and deliver innovative experiences to all US and India-based professionals.
The DTA team is seeking a Lead Specialist who can identify training needs, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions. Responsibilities include internal and external research on relevant topics, including the latest trends in the technology training landscape (including competitors and their own technology academies).
Enabling Areas (EA): The Enabling Areas L&D Team, in alignment with the firm-wide L&D strategy, delivers skills-based learning and development programs that are thoughtfully designed and curated to support strategic business priorities by empowering Deloitte's 20K+ internal professionals to develop and hone the skills required to succeed at every stage of their careers.
The EA L&D team is seeking a Lead Specialist to support the team's strategic planning and operational efficiency goals. The role has a significant focus on learning impact measurement, data analysis, and optimizing team usage of Deloitte learning tools, systems, and communications. We have two roles that will be part of a dynamic learning organization that creates and delivers innovative learning experiences for Tax professionals. The roles work collaboratively with creative, high energy and technology-forward internal team members as well as client resources to support the Tax business learning strategy and help develop and execute a curriculum that is designed to achieve desired outcomes.
Work you'll do
Within our Development Center of Excellence, you will actively participate in projects focused on aligning learning and development solutions with business priorities.
Responsibilities may include:
Plan, execute and operationalize development programs and processes
Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
Assist in the creation and development of various learning programs and training experiences, to help Deloitte personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to grow at Deloitte
Participate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, SMEs and peers
Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems
The Successful Candidate Will Possess
Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels
Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed virtual environment
Ability to manage ambiguity across multiple priorities and to know when to escalate issues for final resolution
Strong understanding of adult learning principles/previous instructional design experience, a plus
Experience working in a learning and development organization is beneficial
Prior consulting or professional services experience, preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 6 years of related professional experience
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future
Ability to travel up to 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Demonstrated project and program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables:
In Excel, aggregate and analyze operational data to identify insights and trends
In PowerPoint, tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; identify clear and actionable asks
In Word, create clear, concise, professional communications and resources
In Teams, effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiency and version control
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 to $165,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
