Job Title: Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner, Deloitte UniversityCareer Level: Senior Manager 1Function: Finance & Administration, Business Planning and Analysis (BP&A)Location: Westlake, TXPosition Reports To: Lead Finance Business Partner- TalentTravel (percentage of time travel is required): 10%Role Description:The BP&A Business Partner organization provides specialized finance-related services in support of the business leaders of the firm. This role focuses on Deloitte University and the Development area within Talent. This Business Partner is responsible for direct financial support of the Deloitte University leader in areas such as the outsourced operator accounting/finance, analysis of the overall DU operations, financial reporting, forecasting & planning, auditing and defining accounting processes, asset management and various other financial aspects as needed. The Business Partner is expected to work closely with the DU Leadership team and Talent leaders demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business and its strategic priorities. Role requires a forward looking approach focusing on potential opportunities for improvement, leading directly to actions resulting in better financial metrics for DU. Job Responsibilities:-Explain, present and analyze the financial performance of organization-Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future financial performance to leadership-Identify and prioritize challenges, risks and opportunities while recommending action plans-Participate in strategy development and planning, facilitate the long-term financial planning process and develop metrics to monitor the performance against strategic objectives-Support an efficient and effective forecasting process that produces accurate, achievable forecasts that align with strategic objectives-Serve as a catalyst to drive forward initiatives critical to delivering the strategy-Support the business in protecting, growing and optimizing the assets of the Firm-Be a key contributor to the relationship with the outsourced Hospitality vendor/operator with a clear understanding to the management agreement and ensuring compliance to that agreement-Provide guidance to the accounting department of the outsourced Hospitality vendor/operator in areas of accounting, controls and procedures QualificationsEducation: Bachelor s degree in Finance or related subjectCPA or MBA preferredExperience Requirements-Minimum of 7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a professional services firm-Minimum of 2-5 years leading and managing people in financial reporting, planning and/or analysis competencyDemonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:1.
