Event Coordinator, Greenhouse Meeting Services This position is responsible for planning and execution of non-Greenhouse Single Client Events and Client Tours that take place at Deloitte University. The role will act as an advisor to its customers by taking a holistic approach to the overall event scheduling and coordination. This position is also responsible for supporting the Greenhouse Event Planners who work at the (5) Deloitte Greenhouse locations. In this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and consult with Greenhouse Schedulers and Planners, Greenhouse Leadership, DU operations leadership to effectively execute events. This position reports and is organizationally aligned to Office Experience. Job Responsibilities:Fosters relationships with customers to ensure effective collaboration, communication and delivery of event requirements.Provides consultative support and subject matter expertise to customers and business partners throughout the scheduling and planning process.Work closely with customers and Deloitte University Leadership to ensure the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.Strategic planning of client meetings, with a primary focus on Client Tours and small single client meetings at Deloitte UniversitySupport continued process improvements within the planning and scheduling processData management in the Meeting Management System (MMS) and OnBoard System and ensure accuracy of data and fluencyAssist Sr. Event Planners with Registration management, Invoice Processing and Data managementPerform other tasks and special projects as required or as assigned.Competencies: Hospitality-minded with excellent customer service skillsDemonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize requests and customer needs using good judgment and logical thinkingTake initiative and demonstrate follow-throughSolutions-oriented and extremely organizedHandle sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion.Effective problem-solving and negotiation skillsConsults and drives the event process on behalf of the customer, providing expertise and guidance to meet event objectives.Flexibility, adaptability and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and in a virtual team environment Qualifications: Bachelor s or Associates degree preferred.Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a hospitality or event services environmentExperience with event management and/or scheduling software preferredIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
