During this internship, you ll have hands on involvement with the holistic meeting planning process and will learn about the skills needed to succeed in the world s leading professional services organization. You will have the opportunity to network with Deloitte leaders and professionals while contributing to meaningful projects. Work you ll doThis internship position is responsible for supporting the planning team which works on both Deloitte University (DU) programs as well as events taking place at external hotel facilities. In this position you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Deloitte event planners, DU operations personnel, and conference center management personnel to actively contribute to the delivery of programs and events. Potential responsibilities during the internship include: Learning and working within Deloitte s Meeting Management System (MMS) Manage the NMS Outlook Mailbox Work on space assignments for future DU events Training on end to end management of small, less complex meetings Manage email correspondence outlining upcoming DU groups Manage planner meeting minutes and other administrative duties Assist with the planning and execution of both small and complex meetings Basic training on Deloitte s meeting registration process Learn about and assist with the scheduling process for DU meetings Learn about and assist with NMS Business Advisor processes Provide support as needed on NMS and DU projects About Deloitte UniversityDeloitte University, The Leadership Center, officially opened in October 2011 in Westlake, Texas.
