Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with colleagues in a virtual setting to meet our business and client needs? The senior art director manages the design team and leads the design, coordination, and development of creative assets that are on strategy and on brand. He or she direct workload, trains, and develops the design team while also providing hands-on design work for strategic projects. Work you ll do:Counsel other team membersLead, manage, and deploy the design team based on experience and skills developed as a counselorProvide art direction to US and USI teams on simultaneous projects to ensure that design principles and appropriate brand standards are followed; deploy directly on significant projectsOrganize designer meetings, work closely with Brand, attend national design calls, and communicate updates to the teamCollaborate with senior leadership to develop creative and innovative design strategies to differentiate Deloitte in the marketplace and win business for the firmLead key national initiatives to improve design performance and address new technology and market developmentsDevelop operational and creative efficienciesWork directly with senior leadership to gather materials and input for the development of regular briefings and submissionsWork with Talent to address a variety of team-related and personnel issuesProvide hands-on training to team membersLiaise with creative agencies, contractors, and vendors to coordinate services and ensure quality, cost, and design principles are consistent with the firm s brand, messaging, and legal guidelinesQualifications:15 years of applied design experienceExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat); and other design technology platformsHigh proficiency in project and people management; experience with marketing resource management solutions such as Workfront a plusExceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to work with senior-level client executivesCertificate in Graphic Design; Bachelor s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or BusinessWorking knowledge / familiarity with of Adobe Creative Cloud video/motion suite (AfterEffects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder); Newton and other specialty video applications; video direction, compression principlesWorking knowledge/familiarity with of Adobe Creative Cloud digital suite (Dreamweaver, Muse, xD); and other specialty UX/UI applications
