We combine investigative skills with advanced computer labs and cutting-edge technology to offer innovative solutions to our clients' complex legal problems. Within our operations, Deloitte Discovery is comprised of the following Computer Forensics, Discovery Advisory Services, Document Review Services and Electronic Discovery. Work you ll do Today s highly complex investigation and litigation environments, along with technological evolutions in areas such as big data, cloud and the pervasiveness of social media, continue to present challenges to forensics practitioners. You will have an opportunity to work on a variety of different projects, across many different industries and with colleagues from around the globe: Perform data analysis and present findings in support of fraud, embezzlement, theft of intellectual property and other forensic and cybercrime investigationsSupervise multiple engagements involving evidence collection and preservation, forensic investigations and data recoveryDefine resource requirements, project workflow and budgetsProvide support for electronic collections and forensic analysis including the development of procedural work plans, cost estimates and client billing/invoicingSupervise, train and serve as a technical resource to associates and senior associatesPerform quality control processes and establish additional quality control procedures, in an effort to maintain quality deliverables on engagementsDevelop and maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfactionNetwork to identify and sell potential new services or expand existing engagementsParticipate in RFP responses, engagement letters and Statements of WorkParticipate in industry conferences and tradeshows and author articlesParticipate in initiatives to improve the operational and technical capabilities of the practicePossess a strong background in evidentiary procedures including evidence management and Chain of Custody documentationWork with global forensics teams to drive efficiencies and provide feedbackRemotely manage teams based across the country and around the worldProvide training and guidance for new hires and ensure all team members follow consistent processesProactively identify process deficiencies, recommend corrective action plans, and drive implementation of solutions to enhance processes and controlsAssist in the creation of processes/procedures, technical documentation, as well as completion of project tasks. QualificationsRequired:5 years of hands-on technical and/or computer forensic investigations experienceExperience conducting advanced level digital forensics examinations on Windows operating systems using industry standard forensic tools (preferably familiar with EnCase, FTK and X-Ways forensic suites)Experience conducting advanced level digital forensic collections and examinations on mobile device operating systems using industry standard forensic tools (preferably familiar with Cellebrite UFED, Cellebrite Physical Analyzer and MSAB XRY)An understanding of data collection & preservation principles Prior experience leading teams in a professional servicesBalance multiple client projects and other responsibilitiesMust be absolutely flexible with the 80-100% travel requirements of client service projectsLead and participate in client presentations and conference callsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint An understanding of file system types and hard disk drive structuresAn understanding of mobile phone data and mobile device collection toolsets,challenges, and limitations.Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oralThe ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas to in non-technical termsKnowledge of the full EDRM lifecycleBachelor s Degree in Computer Science or other technology related fields preferred Preferred:Programming ability in C#, SQL, Perl, Python, Visual Basic, Microsoft .NET framework, EnScript, Shell Scripting or similarStrong technical experience in troubleshooting personal computers and serversA strong understanding of Windows based systems including installing, troubleshooting, and networking.Linux and UNIX experienceProficiency in the use of Nuix, X-Ways, Blacklight, Forensic Explorer, Magnet and/or open source (Linux) forensic toolsAn understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP) and experience in working with networked systemsIndustry standard digital forensics certifications (CCE, EnCE, GCFE, GCFA, CFCE, etc)Working knowledge of SQL and other database platforms.Network logging experience and analysisExperience performing forensic analysis for the identification of data theft, cybercrime or other malicious activitiesThe availability and willingness to work abroad
