Staff in Corporate Development are responsible for analysis and evaluation of potential investments, development of inorganic growth strategies and M&A targeting. Staff will be a part of the M&A process and Deloitte Consulting from beginning to end. The position will work under Consulting Corporate Development PPMD leadership and Senior Managers on a variety of investment projects. Candidates must have expertise in financial modeling for business case development and be comfortable with application of strategic frameworks and analysis to solve business problems. Candidates must be have strong oral and written communication skills and be comfortable with executive presentation. Work You ll DoThe CCD Senior Consultant role supports the CCD team in proactive pursuit of high priority acquisition areas for Consulting, evaluates reactive opportunities and manages active projects. The Senior Consultant will work on teams composed of full-time Consulting Corporate Development leadership (SM/M) and rotational staff project resources on a day to day basis and report into Consulting Corporate Development senior and executive leadership. This role will work on pre-close investments including acquisitions, global investments and large scale organic investments. Specific responsibilities of the role will include:Evaluation of acquisition prioritiesTargeting and screening of potential acquisitionsDevelopment of strategic rationale for investment (market analysis, competitive analysis, business model development)Development of the financial business case for investmentDevelopment of presentation documents for governance approvalSelect involvement in marketplace diligence and integration planningThe Senior Consultant works closely with key stakeholders including U.S. Firms Corporate Development team, Business Sponsors and other members of the extended team. The team has two openings and will consider candidates at the Analyst, Consultant and Sr. Consultant level.
