Work you ll do

The Ethics & Compliance Group (E&C ) is launching two new mobile applications (apps ) to enhance awareness: one uses a fun and unique, trivia-based approach; and the other provides a decision tree that helps professionals determine what to do in certain situations.

E&C is seeking a Lead Analyst / Senior Associate level individual to coordinate the ongoing development and maintenance of these Ethics & Compliance apps. This role involves development, collection and coordination of content and guidance for the apps; quality control of app content; ongoing correspondence with developers and users; reporting; and related project management responsibilities.

  • Contribute content and serve as a quality assurance reviewer for the E&C mobile apps

  • Interact regularly with internal stakeholders and users to identify specific subject areas to be addressed in the E&C mobile apps

  • Interpret policy-related content to refine apps

  • Research approved sources of new or revised content and make good decisions to approve or reject content

  • Assist other contributors by refining research methods

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and users to resolve issues

  • Suggest communications and content to build awareness

  • Become familiar with the Deloitte Style Guide

  • Document and maintain the overall apps effort and style guide

  • Provide data analysis reports

  • Work directly with the Information Technology team on app enhancements and issues

  • Assist the apps team leader with overall project management activities, to include ongoing maintenance of the pool of questions in the application, management of the project plan, coordinating with content contributors, and managing interaction with other professionals and teams in E&C and Risk & Regulatory Affairs

  • The role will evolve as the needs of the team and the apps evolve

The team

The Risk and Regulatory Affairs Office brings together five core programs, enabling us to make an impact that matters on our people, our clients, and society. The objective of the Ethics & Compliance Group is to support Deloitte s global shared values, the Global Principles of Business Conduct, and the Deloitte US Firms Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct by centrally coordinating and enhancing ethics and compliance practices designed to prevent, detect, and address ethics and compliance issues.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent English writing skills

  • Core client and consultative skills

  • Experience in analyzing large data sets

  • Attention to detail

  • Aptitude and interest in technology and technology development

  • Experience with designing learning for online environments, including writing of multiple-choice knowledge check questions

  • Proven ability to work independently and with broad direction to determine methods and procedures to drive projects to completion

  • Experience with identifying, creating, and maintaining project standards

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple work streams

  • Ability to critically and objectively analyze problems and facilitate solutions

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to expanding and varying technology solutions and processes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • 5 years of relevant work experience; preferably 3 with the Deloitte US Firms or another professional services organization

  • Experience with learning tools and/or apps

  • Experience with reviewing and interpreting corporate policies
