DeloitteTax, LLP s International Tax / Transfer Pricing Services (ITTP ) practice,comprised of both National Tax and regional professionals, helps multinationalcompanies align their global tax position with their business strategy tomaintain a competitive advantage and provide shareholder value. ITTP teamssupport clients' cross-border transactions, assess their international taxattributes and strategies, and provide a range of services including transferpricing and tax-effective supply chain management.
Wecurrently have a career opportunity for a Tax Manager in our IT.QCS practice, anational group within our ITTP practice. The individual will report directly tothe national leaders of the IT.QCS practice. The focus of the IT.QCS group isto sell and deliver quality, customizable, technology and process solutions forinternational tax issues involving large or complex data. The group developsstate-of-the-art models and solutions built on a variety of platforms, as wellas introduces efficiencies into large-scale projects with complex data.
Workwith the national IT.QCS leaders, others in the IT.QCS group and local officeteams in the design and execution of complex IT.QCS projects with significantclients of Deloitte Tax, LLP. IT.QCS projects include those involving:Attributes (e.g.,earnings & profits, tax basis, Sec. 987, foreign tax credit); Modeling (e.g.,efficiency, transactional, legislative, controversy); and Provision (e.g.,process, remediation).
Responsibilitiesalso include, assisting in the advancement of the IT.QCS practice including thedevelopment, enhancement, and implementation of new and existing quantitative solutionsand processes.
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or lawlicense is required.
managerial, organizational, technology andverbal/written communications;
project management skills combined with interestand experience in process improvement and efficiency;
quantitative and modeling skills;
advanced knowledge of one or several of thefollowing languages/platforms is preferred: Python, SQL, C#, .NET
extensive experience using one or several of thefollowing software or platforms: Tableau, Amazon Web Services (AWS), web baseddevelopment (e.g., SpreadJS), robotic processing automation, or similar dataprocessing and visualization tools;
International Tax experience;
a graduate degree in accounting, tax, law,computer science, information systems or a related field is a plus;
a bachelor's degree in accounting, computerscience, information systems or a related field and approximately 4 years ofrelated work experience
