Our Senior Compensation Consultants will work on a number of market offerings including:Compensation program designJob architecture/designCompensation functional designM&A integration supportIn addition to applying these skills in traditional settings, our practitioners provide advisory services related to these issues in governance and risk management, enterprise cost reduction efforts, and other transformational business initiatives. Specifically, a Compensation Senior Consultant may perform the following job responsibilities:Develop total rewards compensation studies for a variety of clientsSupport the development of base pay and incentive compensation program designModel financial impact of compensation plans in support of compensation plan analysis and designAssist with compensation function process definition and organization structure design projectsSupport the implementation of a new compensation program, policy, or regulationCollaborate with clients to conduct performance metrics studiesPrepare client reports including exhibits and summariesOther responsibilities include:Participate in broader ARA projects including performance management, employee benefits, retirement, healthcare, performance optimization, cash/non-cash reward and recognitionParticipate in marketing initiatives including support on developing compensation work and methodology approaches, writing and supporting proposals and conducting surveyContribute to intellectual eminence and the development of firm viewpoints on a variety of total rewards topics Required qualifications include:Bachelor's degreeAt least 4 years of experience in compensation in the public or private sector or a compensation consulting backgroundStrong knowledge of compensation surveys, custom survey design and statistical analysis, incentive plan design and analysis, job evaluation methodologies and pay structure analysis and designStrong critical thinking and technical skillsStrong attention to detail, time management and follow throughSelf-motivated and able to work with little direct supervisionAbility to work well with others in a team environmentProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAbility to travel at least 50%Preferred qualifications are:3 years of experience in a compensation consulting firm1 years of experience with broad base payStrong written, verbal and quantitative skills
