We prioritize creative thinking and take pride in what we do. We re growing, and seeking a Post Production Coordinator for our in-house content studio, which is part of our production department.

What you ll do

The Post Production Coordinator at Heat, works directly with all levels of agency producers, creative teams, video editors, motion graphics artists and the account management group, assisting with day-to-day project management on a variety of client projects and helping the content production group run smoothly.

We re looking for someone who enjoys putting processes in place in a creative and fast-paced, but laid-back environment.

In your role, you will:

  • Handle scheduling and workflow management for in-house video projects

  • Work directly with editors, motion graphics artists, and producers on video projects

  • Be hands on and work directly with account teams and creative teams in planning video projects and coordinating approvals

  • Assist with planning and organizing live action shoots handled by our in-house content studio

  • Assist with sourcing for freelance staff as needed (editors, motion graphics artists)

  • Manage schedules and production of materials for new business pitches

  • Assist in production of agency events and materials for agency events alongside operations team, including Heat Sessions a monthly live concert series held at the agency

  • Research footage for licensed or found footage video projects

  • Research music needed for video projects



  • Prior internship experience required

  • Interest in film and video production

  • Experienced in a Mac environment, with a solid understanding of Excel/Word

  • Ability to travel up to 30%


  • Bachelor s Degree preferred

  • Be communicative, organized, resourceful, nimble, and organized, with an ambition to learn the production landscape

  • Be creatively minded and a true problem solver

  • Have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast paced and oftentimes hectic environment

  • An understanding or intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator a plus

  • An understanding of Final Cut Pro After Effects a plus

  • Comfort with Basecamp, MS Project / OpenProj, or other visual scheduling tool

  • Experience on set with live action shoots is a plus

  • Experience producing editorial and/or visual effects a plus

  • An openness to long hours this is not a 9 5 job
