The role will act as an advisor to its customers by taking a holistic approach to the overall event scheduling and coordination. This position provides a unique opportunity to support events on a national level while providing a specialized focus on office best practices. While this role is aligned to a national event specialty team, it s expected that this role work collaboratively with the respective co-located office to understand office protocols, culture and best practices. Job Responsibilities:Fosters relationships with customers to ensure effective collaboration, communication and delivery of event requirements.Provides consultative support and subject matter expertise to customers and business partners throughout the scheduling process.Work closely with customers and offices to ensure the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.Scheduling, modifying, and approving events.Perform other tasks and special projects as required or as assigned.Competencies:Hospitality-minded with excellent customer service skillsDemonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize event requests and customer needs using good judgment and logical thinkingTake initiative and demonstrate follow-throughSolutions-oriented and extremely organizedHandle sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion.Effective problem-solving and negotiation skillsConsults and drives the event process on behalf of the customer, providing expertise and guidance to meet event objectives.Flexibility, adaptability and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and in a virtual team environmentQualifications:Bachelor s or Associates degree preferred.Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a hospitality or event services environmentExperience with event management and/or scheduling software preferredIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
