As a Technology Risk Consultant at Deloitte Advisory, you ll have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals across diverse industries while building your professional skills in a variety of project experiences. You ll be involved in helping our clients identify and understand technology risk as businesses change, analyze and improve the effectiveness of governance and financial and operational control processes, offer recommendations to improve operations, and assist clients with enterprise and compliance activities. Work you ll doAs a Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple project opportunities leveraging your business or technology degree to help our clients more confidently make decisions to drive performance. In our Technology Risk service area, we help our clients embrace change, grow their business, accelerate performance and emerge resilient following periods of crisis or controversy. Your experiences could include working with clients to assess and manage risk, inspect accounting systems and controls for improvement opportunities, leveraging our methodologies to improve our clients information technology controls or technology risk management programs, and/or participate in the development or execution of internal audit strategic plans. QualificationsRequired: The following undergraduate or master s degrees will be considered:o Business: Business Administration or Accounting with a concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Finance; Masters in Accounting or Information Systemso Technology: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Math, Engineering, Supply Chain Management Demonstrated proficiency in verbal communication skills, professional presence, and written communication skills essential to interacting with clients and teams Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs) Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to quickly and concisely research and collect data from unique places Ability to synthesize data and convey information in a meaningful way A strong understanding of Windows Based systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Travel up to 75% may be required, dependent on role and location Preferred: Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2) How you ll growThrough your variety of experiences at Deloitte, you will have the opportunity to develop analytical, communication, and leadership skills that can help you achieve your full potential, no matter what career path you eventually choose.
