The primary focus of the SNET is to support client development projects, client pursuits, solution development, and practice development. The SNET does this by providing project teams with a hosted infrastructure that includes a large mix of hardware vendors, operating systems, and technical application expertise. The SNET also provides on-site technical architecture and application experts to assist project teams in delivering engagements. The Solution Network consists of experts with knowledge of all major packaged applications and technologies PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, middleware, BI/DW, JAVA, .Net, networking, SAN, server virtualization, Cloud Platform, etc. SNET staff is also exposed to new and emerging technology, and in many cases serve as an R&D function for Deloitte. Oracle Team Project Coordinator The SNET Oracle Team Project Coordinator will be focused on assisting Managers with the delivery of client projects. This role will be responsible for project coordination tasks, working with multiple client projects at a time. In addition to project coordination responsibilities this individual will have ownership of various internal initiatives as needed. The position will be focused on the following:Effectively supporting Project Managers with the delivery of multiple simultaneous client projects. Tasks may include scheduling meetings and participating in initial needs assessment, scope definition, and statement of work, resource planning, managing milestone/deliverable targets, and project closure activities.Assist Managers and Leads with building and pricing of hosting and staffing proposals.Assist with the determination of requirements to include software access and support.Assist with coordinating project work tasks for offshore and onshore resources.Collaborate with project managers to coordinate, develop and maintain the scope and performance of the assigned projects.Assist project managers with maintaining the project management information system (JIRA).Ensure all required phase and project close out documents are obtained and filed in the project management information system. This position is located in Philadelphia, PA, and is part of the overall SNET Oracle team which includes other U.S. locations, Hyderabad and Bangalore India and Mexico City. This position may require minimal travel.Position Qualifications Competitive candidates for this role will possess the following: 3 years of experience in an IT field with exposure to at least one of the following: Technical application, database, or infrastructure administration. Experience with any Oracle products is a plus.Must have knowledge of all phases of the project management life cycle.Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong organization skills and the ability to multi-taskStrong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot while exercising mature judgmentAptitude and willingness to learn quickly in a fast paced environmentAbility to take initiative and work with a sense of urgencyGoal oriented and flexible to meet the needs of the businessBachelor's level degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technology disciplineTechnical writing experience is a plus.
