Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks an Advisory Senior Consultant in Parsippany, NJ.

Work You ll Do

Participate in risk assessments, determine internal audit plans, execute internal audit programs, assess issues, and work with management to determine remediation plans and track progress. Evaluate and implement internal controls that mitigate risks. Help to identify and evaluate complex business process and technology risks. Assist in preparing project plans and weekly status reports. Develop control frameworks encompassing regulatory requirements and application security designs. Design and implement risk management organizations, processes and systems to address the growing challenges of cyber threats and other information technology risks. Perform assessments, remediation, implementation and integration of end-to-end solutions in these areas. Assess information systems and technology that manage risk and drive operational, financial, and regulatory compliance processes as well as solutions that manage the risk associated with information technology. Design and implement solutions to integrate security into the processes to enable business growth and manage reputational risks. Will commute within the Parsippany, NJ area to consult with clients regarding the above mentioned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Biotechnology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Two years of Life Science regulatory compliance experience.

  • Experience must include two years of:

  • Auditing in the Life Science and Healthcare industry under EMEA and MHRA;

  • Evaluating and testing system controls for the purpose of making recommendations for improvements to client management;

  • Performing audit procedures in control areas including project management, access security, change management, computer operations, and data center and network operations;

  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel tools, including VLookups, Macros, and Pivot Tables to prepare reports;

  • Reviewing the accuracy and completeness of software validation deliverables;

  • Performing validation plans testing of SDLC related documents;

  • Participating in validation activities including Change Control or Change Management activities; and

  • Direct client contact with mid-management.

  • Less than 10% travel outside of normal commuting distance.
