We assist organizations in enterprise-wide risk assessment and help develop a sustainable compliance and risk management program by helping organizations coordinate the utilization of people, process and technology to improve effectiveness and help manage costs. Job Duties: Identify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Assess and implement ethics programs, training, change management, anti-fraud programs, and monitoring/reporting. Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support service offering or industry projects. Play substantive/lead role in attaining quality internal and external communication deliverables including technical content of reports and proposals.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of asset management/ investment management/ private equity and/or regulatory compliance issues.Demonstrate team-building, project management skills & team leadership skills.Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support service offering or industry projects.Opportunity to coordinate and team with professionals in other areas of GRRS and Deloitte.Contribute to proposal development and marketing. Demonstrated ability to identify, measure, manage, monitor, review, and report on risks. Experience integrating and managing risk and compliance-related activities. Skilled in industry research and benchmarking, performance assessments and development programs. BA/BS degree required; MBA or MS preferred; 8 years of work experience including a mix of public accounting, consulting and/or related industry experience. Experience conducting risk assessments, implementing oversight processes, and drafting compliance policies and procedures, Knowledge and experience with the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act - 38a-1. Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations. Skilled in all Microsoft tools such as Projects, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Access. Certifications desired (e.g., CPA/CA, CIA, PMP, etc.) Experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full lifecycle of assessment, design and implementation support. Demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects within the industry. Demonstrated leadership, project management and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and think creatively. Flexibility in learning new topics, handling change and deadlines. Ability to travel extensively.
