What you ll do:The Communication Specialist will work closely with the senior managers of Communications supporting leadership and market offering leaders, to plan, lead, and execute external programs. Assist senior leadership in developing, execute, and maintain the Firm s comprehensive public relations and communications objectives by assisting in the creation of a variety of programs and vehicles designed to strategically position Deloitte in the marketplace.Perform public relations activities such as updating and managing media lists, and writing, editing, and distributing press releases such as radio or television special reports, newspaper stories, magazine articles, and other press material. Help plan seminars, tradeshows, conferences, speaking engagements, and other special public relations events.Assist senior leadership to enhance and maintain relationships with key media contacts by helping to promote the Firm s activities, services, and accomplishments. Help coach and prepare spokespeople to represent the Firm in a positive manner. The teamDeloitte s Communications team provides value to the U.S. Firms by delivering innovative communications strategies and approaches for internal and external audiences. We build and protect our brand, and help our leaders influence positive behaviors, drive change, reinforce successes, and promote a strong sense of community through coordinated, consistent messaging.
