Deloitte Services LP is currently searching for an Event Marketing Specialist who will join our in-house marketing agency and support client-facing marketing events that differentiate our firm. This individual will primarily be responsible for providing strategy, planning and tactical support for events that promote our industry practices, functional areas and marketplaces. Work you ll doProvide strategic and creative event marketing consultation, design and management to a variety of internal clientsExecute innovative in-person events that promote the firm, build and enhance brand eminence, generate leads, and develop relationshipsManage end-to-end logistics for assigned proprietary and third-party events, including budget, contract terms, registration process, food and beverage, venue research, registration support, entertainment, conference booth production, transportation, CPE support, among othersProvide guidance on Deloitte s policies and procedures around eventsServe as a liaison for technology support onsiteLiaise on digital presence, social promotion and public relations to support eventsProvide follow up reporting related to ROI around the eventIndependently lead additional team projects both via established Work Streams and within your designated teamServe as a mentor to team member when called upon. Ability to lead teams on assigned programsPartner with both regional and national team members to build innovation and efficiencies for the teamRaise your hand eager and proactive in bettering the state of In-Person Events and accomplishes this thru both collaboration and advancing personal projectsQualificationsRequired:A minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, marketing or related fieldBachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or relevant fieldProficiency in all Microsoft Office toolsAbility to travel as needed for onsite event supportPreferred:Mid-level event planning skills and experienceMid-level marketing skills and experienceStrong teaming skillsStrong customer-service approachExcellent written and oral communications skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of managementAbility to work and achieve results with minimal supervision in an intense, fast-paced, virtual team environmentAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated flexibility and adaptabilityAttention to detail and ability to create deliverables presentable to firm leadershipExperience in professional services and/or a matrix organization, a plusAgency experience (Advertising, PR, Marketing or Event) a plus How you ll grow (please do not change anything in this section the same for all postings)At Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
