Work You ll DoAdvisory Senior Consultant to evaluate clients' critical business processes (revenue, payables, fixed assets, financial close and reporting, inventory) and General Computer Control (GCC) environment by performing design implementation and operating effectiveness audits. Perform risk assessment, risk ranking, automated control design, control GAP analysis, manual control design, and RCM documentation. Conduct Sarbanes Oxley (IT SOX) and SAS-70 audits and remediation. Gather business requirements, data mapping, and document report specifications for trading, compliance, and portfolio management reports. Participate in implementation and reconciliation of financial reporting system. Assist in daily aspects of client engagements, including scheduling and conducting client interviews and documenting, coordinating, and presenting client deliverables. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches. Utilize knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, products, and service lines. Participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand broader impact of decisions. Build and nurture client relationships. Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, or implement products and services. #LI-DNI RequirementsBachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, International Business, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Risk Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Two years of experience evaluating, designing, and testing of internal controls, and performing risk assessment.Experience must include two years of:Creating adequate controls to address risks that exist in the information technology environment and the Front office sales and trading environment;Analyzing technology to ensure information is accurate between interfacing systems, reviewing balance sheet reconciliation performed by client to understand accuracy, and walking through improvements with client;Documenting and testing business and information technology process controls, including assessing the business and information technology application process controls for the financial services industry;Documenting, testing D&I (Design & Implementation) and Operating Effectiveness of SOX and Management controls, including assisting with the development of application security designs and control frameworks encompassing privacy, Sarbanes Oxley, and COSO;Assessing financial and operational risk within the Financial Services industry;Designing and implementing remediation programs; andDesigning programs to implement regulatory requirements for clients within the Financial Services industry, utilizing FATCA, 871M, and Reg SCI.Less than 10% travel outside of normal commuting distance.
