Work You ll DoEvaluate clients critical business processes (revenue, payables, fixed assets, financial close and reporting, inventory) and General Computer Control (GCC) environment by performing design implementation and operating effectiveness audits. Perform risk assessment, risk ranking, automated control design, control GAP analysis, manual control design, and RCM documentation. Conduct Sarbanes Oxley (IT SOX) and IT General Controls (ITGC) audits. Assist in daily aspects of client engagements, including scheduling and conducting client interviews and documenting, coordinating, and presenting client deliverables. Understand clients business environment and basic risk management approaches. Utilize knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, products, and service lines. Participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand broader impact of decisions. Build and nurture client relationships. Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, or implement products and services. #LI-DNI RequirementsBachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Risk Management or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Two years of experience performing internal controls assessments, including IT and business processes.Experience must include two years of:Performing information technology controls assessments and audits across a variety of technology platforms including SAP, Oracle, Unix, Linux, AS/400, Mainframe, Active Directory, and SQL;Leading client walk-throughs to validate understanding of the usage of information technology resources and applications and how this usage effects the financial reporting for the client;Performing Information Technology Risk Assessments addressing areas, including IT Asset Management, Software Development Life Cycles, Infrastructure Security, Environmental Controls, Backup and Recovery Controls using a variety of industry leading frameworks, including COBIT, NIST, and ISO;Designing and executing audit schedules tailored to the client information technology environment and documenting all testing of information technology controls;Performing client relationship management, including leading business and information technology process walkthrough meetings and risk assessment meetings with client;Preparing recommendations for changes to controls or processes to gain efficiency and to better address inherent risks;Performing regulatory compliance testing using ITGC, SOX and FFIEC guidelines; and Leading and mentoring junior team members.Position requires approximately 10% travel.
