Deloitte Advisory LLPadvises clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.

In 2008, Deloitte Advisory LLP opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. Deloitte Advisory s E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte Advisory s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte Advisory s Discovery practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.

This is a full time position in the Deloitte Advisory Discovery Development team that focuses on the execution and development of various software development projects. This is a hands-on technical role that will help design and implement Web application solutions in a very collaborative, team-oriented manner, following the Scrum development process. The candidate is expected to be a .NET development generalist, with current skills, and a strong desire to continually improve.

The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Job Responsibilities

Take a lead role in designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications and 3rdparty tools.

Possess subject matter expertise in specific platforms, technologies, domains and/or tools that are strategic to the operation of the Discovery function.

Provide technical leadership for the function and enforces standards, procedures, and development methodologies.

Maintain deep technical knowledge, comprehensive skill sets, and relevant project experience equivalent to someone with 10 diverse years of development experience.

Collaborate with QA professionals to encourage defect prevention over detection.

Collaborate and coordinate closely with BA professionals, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure user stories and tasks are thoroughly understood by the entire team.

Deep understanding of other teams within the EDSC. Some understanding of other functions within Discovery.

Identify, escalate, and take ownership of initiatives designed to support strategic EDSC needs.

Provide input around improvement of development processes

Coach junior team members

Provide 3rdlevel production support, when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree required. Management Information Systems or Decision Science degrees preferred.

5 or more years of experience in standards-based, front-end Web application development in the Microsoft stack.

Proven ability to work effectively on projects following Scrum principles, with expert working knowledge of the concepts, tools, and practices.

Experience with test-driven development and a firm advocate of its use.

Strong JavaScript skills and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Aurelia, etc)

Experience with common design patterns and their application, such as MVC and MVVM.

Expert TSQL Skills.

In depth knowledge designing and working with largely scalable enterprise databases.

Working knowledge of some ORM (nhibernate, entity framework, etc).

WebAPI Experience.

Strong XML skills (.net and SQL).

Strong Object Oriented development skills.

Knowledge of common e-Discovery tools is a plus (i.e. Concordance, Relativity, Clearwell, IPRO, and OCR software packages).

Scrum Certified a plus.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels and areas of expertise.

Ability to identify project risks and escalate in a timely manner.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
