The Managed Services Payments Analyst manages payment activities across multiple clients and services, corresponding with clients, Managed Services, Finance, and Treasury professionals. The Payments Analyst will monitor, maintain, and record confidential payment data using an approved process methodology within a proprietary system framework. The individual willmonitor client funds, account status, and impact of payments during process stages, and execute client payments timely and accurately during high-volume processing cycles, and perform account reconciliation and report preparation while adhering to SOC-compliant process standards. In addition, the position will be responsible for maintaining and updating policy and procedure documentation related to the payment processing service offering, performing periodic quality audits of the payment process, and assisting in annual SOC compliance audits. A successful Payments Analyst will drive process improvement initiatives, including requirements for developing system enhancements, process development for new service offerings, and requirements for changes to existing services. The Payments Analyst will gain knowledge specific to CIS by Deloitte s Managed Services offerings, contributing to client projects within the organization. The services provided by the Managed Services Payments Analyst role are critical to maintaining a profitable, forward-facing service line as well as promoting efficiency and maintaining process integrity in our MSO group. The success of the Payments Analyst has a direct impact on the success of CIS by Deloitte s current and future Managed Services offerings. Bachelor s degree required in finance, accounting, or related field.Working knowledge of accounting principles, particularly related to treatment of accounts payable and bank reconciliation processesHigh attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strong communication skills (both verbal and written) working in mandated deadline environment while effective managing multiple client assignments with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to reliably handle confidential client information in accordance with SOC-compliant process standardsExperience working in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelMust be local to Morrisville, NC office, or willing to relocatePreferred:Prior experience in Accounting, Finance, or Accounts Payable, or experience processing rebates and/or reimbursements or handling related data.Experience with Microsoft Access or relational database management systems.
