Work You ll DoAdvisory Associate 6 responsible for large scale information technology systems, business processes, security regulatory risk management and security vulnerabilities; Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement; Execute advanced services and supervise staff in delivering basic services; Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support service offering or industry projects; Understand clients' business environment and basic IT risk management approaches; Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, Deloitte & Touche methodologies, security products and service lines; Actively participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions; Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo; Work with clients and the system development teams to design and implement controls to appropriately secure the data at rest, in use and in motion; Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations; Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services; Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability; Participate in and actively support mentoring relationships within practice. #LI-DNI RequirementsBachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, Risk Management or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Five years of information technology experience.Experience must include five years of:Performing requirements gathering, planning, designing, developing, testing, deployment, support and maintenance of front end and middle-tier applications for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of agile software;Utilizing scrum model to implement complex agile software and product development, including sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint demo, and sprint retrospective;Performing internal controls, risk assessments, business process and internal IT control testing or operational auditing;Developing secured software applications using security concepts, including ws-security (for authentication), SSL (Secure Socket Layer for confidentiality and integrity), TLS (Transport Layer Security), HTTPS, and LDAP that provide both authentication and authorization level security features;Architecting, designing and developing SOA (service oriented architecture) and micro services utilizing JAVA-based technologies including Soap/Restful Web Services, Javascript, AngularJs and JMS used as java messaging services, and XML/JSON used for message exchange;Developing complex distributed systems using cloud computing IAAS (Infrastructure as a service);Utilizing application tools including Jenkins (continuous integration of applications), Jasmine and Karma (unit testing of front end applications), and TestNG & Java Mockito (testing java based applications);Utilizing development tools including Spring tool suite (Java web services development), Node.js and Grunt & Bower (front end applications development), and Eclipse, Sublime, IntelliJ & STS IDE used for development; andTesting web services utilizing Soap UI and postman.
