Work you ll doAs a Senior Manager in our Pega Architecture practice you will bethe primary technical architect on Deloitte s Pegasystems implementations. You will be responsible for leading system architecture, design, performance, and scalability for Pega 7 Platform and PRPC applications.Provide in-depth technical direction to business and IT stakeholders to enable development of efficient Pega applications utilizing industry standards, best practices, and technical expertiseContinuously evaluate industry standards, Pega best practices, and latest product versions to support and enhance Pega solutionsDemonstrate your commitment to and enthusiasm for customer success by ensuring that the delivered product is fully-functioning, performs to business requirements defined and approved by the client, and meets or exceeds expectationsGuide and train client business stakeholders in key Pega technology functionalityLead engagement in scoping, planning, and estimating technical delivery of Pega engagementsPerform architecture design reviews and code reviews to validate Pega best practices are maintainedProvide hands-on support to technical and delivery team members, as neededValidate functional and non-functional requirements for Pega applicationsPerform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicalsProvide guidance to Pega application monitoring and performance teams and lead efforts to resolve any Pega-related performance issuesExhibit thought leadership within the organization, raising standards by example, contributing to directional discussion and debate, and working to grow and develop the capabilities of the whole teamMotivate, oversee, and grow technical delivery teams, as appropriate The teamAt Deloitte Consulting LLP, our systems integration specialists help clients manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals. Qualifications Pega Architect- Senior Managers are required to have: At least 10 years of relevant consulting or industry experiencePega CLSA certificationStrong understanding of Pega methodologies (including Agile Scrum). 6 years of full lifecycle Pegaimplementationexperience (preferably Pega 7)Expert PRPC level knowledge with demonstrable experience from successful projects.Demonstrated experience as a Lead System Architect building and implementing systems using PEGA.Experience managing development teams of 15 resourcesPEGA performance tuning/optimization on 5 projectsDevelop functional understanding of each assigned deliverableDeliver assigned technical designs and code on time and within budgetDeliver quality work products in compliance with client standardsDeep understanding of Pega 7 technical architecture and demonstrated ability to design reusable, scalable Pega solutionsIn-depth knowledge of Pega integration patterns.
