Work You ll DoContribute to the firm's growth and development. Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; defining deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics and risk. Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Develop practical solutions and methodologies; assist in developing thoughtware and point-of-view documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals. Perform the role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Lead engagements across the Merger & Acquisition (M&A) lifecycle, including commercial and operational due diligence, separation and integration planning, and assessing entanglement between business units to determine separation readiness. Direct teams with project planning and execution, including the development of work plans and the prioritization of activities using Microsoft (MS) Excel. Guide teams in conducting market and industry research using tools including Thomson Research, IBIS World, Forrester, Gartner, and Capital IQ platforms. Determine market sizing, key drivers, and competitive dynamics using strategic analyses, business model reviews and financial data, and facilitating client and expert interview sessions to inform analyses. Lead the assessment of operational and financial data, and make decisions on risks and opportunities related to operations and margin projections. Direct the assessment of current state and future state operating model across functions to aid in divestiture and integration planning. Determine mechanisms of post-acquisition revenue and cost synergies.
