Project Analytics Enabling Consultant, US Consulting Global Office

Location: Open (continental United States)

As part of the US Consulting Global Office (USCGO), the Consultant will work across the USCGO team including both Global Concierge and Ventures & Collaborations. The Enabling Consultant will be responsible for supporting advanced data analytics projects and initiatives across the priority global markets. You will work with a global team to streamline reporting and data management processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. In addition, you will contribute to the development of analytical capabilities for teams both in the US and in US-India (USI).

Work you ll Do:

  • Support projects requiring advanced analytics by applying problem solving and analytical thinking to conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and client-specific analysis across venture markets

  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of executive-level presentations to USCGO leadership, particularly those involving large analytics projects

  • Proactively identify and address opportunities to streamline reporting and data-driven processes, resulting in improved efficiency and accuracy of ongoing reports, including identification, resolution and/or escalation of issues as needed

  • Coach and develop overall analytical skillset of both the US and USI teams, including developing and leading training in the area of analytics best practices

The Team

In the US Consulting Global Office (USCGO), we serve as business partners and advisers to US Consulting s venture and collaboration leadership. We do this by influencing strategy, helping determine and execute upon priorities, increasing connectivity, and providing business insights in alignment with Global Consulting s strategy and priorities.

Required:

  • Bachelor s degree

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, to include deep analytics and financial modeling experience

  • Comfort with coaching and mentoring junior resources outside of the US

  • Experience in requirements definition and development of modeling tools

  • Understanding of data mining and data modeling, including the ability to discern relationships/correlations amongst disparate data

  • Ability to understand and transform unstructured data into client-level dashboards and reports

  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

  • Experience with financial reporting and analytics including leadership of analytics-focused projects, and an ability to identify and interpret trends in data and financial metrics leading to prioritized action items

  • Understanding of organizational dynamics and experience working in a matrixed work environment

  • Relationship building and demonstrated ability to influence

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

Preferred:

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
