Power & Utilities PracticeThe Deloitte Consulting Power & Utilities practice works with senior management in investor and privately-owned electric power generation, electric and gas transmission, distribution and energy transacting companies, as well as investor and privately-owned water and wastewater companies involved in collection, chemical and mechanical treatment, storage, distribution and supply of water to customers. Senior Managers in the Power and Utilitiespractice are required to have:10 years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with 2 years leading small-to-mid sized teams6 years of experience within the Power & Utilities industrySubject matter expert in one of the sub-offerings, Digital Asset Management, Advanced Meter Operations or Intelligent Grid OperationsDevelop credibility and key relationships internally and within the external marketplaceIdentify opportunities to create additional synergies across offerings based on client/industry demandSupport the delivery phases (analyze, design, build, test and deploy) of Smart Grid Services projectsArticulating application and integration strategy and architecture point of view and thought leadership for business solutionsDeep contextual understanding of Utilities and Smart Grid, both from business and IT point of viewProven track record of leading / managing Smart Grid projects successfullyAbility to demonstrate deep operational content skills in utilities industryA willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the timeBachelor s Degree or equivalent experience In addition, successful Senior Managers will have the following preferred background:Experience planning, tracking and delivering projects using Microsoft Project and documenting processes in Microsoft VisioStrong presentation and facilitation skills including development and delivery of Microsoft PowerPoint presentationsStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentExperience with cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud PlatformExperience working in a collaborative environmentExperience leading work planning, monitoring, and reportingExperience conducting interviews and documenting requirementsExperience leading design sessions and defining future state processesAbility to work independently and manage multiple assignmentsStrong oral and written communication skills
