Work You ll DoAdvisory Manager in Accounting and Finance to play substantive role in engagement planning, economics, and billing. Attain quality internal and external communications and deliverables, including technical content of reports and proposals. Understand clients business. Deliver services meeting engagement leader specifications. Participate in add-on sales to clients. Participate in proposal development efforts. Build strong client relationships and ensure ongoing client communication. Utilize knowledge of various commodities markets. Enhance relationships with audit and tax professionals and support audit engagements with specialized accounting and industry knowledge. Evaluate, counsel, mentor, and provide feedback on performance of subordinates and assist with recruitment retention of professionals. #LI-DNI RequirementsBachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Five years of experience advising clients on accounting and reporting compliance improvement and transformation.Experience must include five years of:Applying IFRS accounting standards;Assessing the design, implementation and testing operating effectiveness of financial internal controls;Leading teams of at least 2-5 people, including mentoring, training, evaluating, and reviewing work;Utilizing Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint to prepare technical memorandums, engagement proposals, audit working papers, accounting and reporting documentation, and financial spreadsheets; andPerforming technical research of complex accounting issues.Experience must include three years of:Applying US GAAP accounting standards;Performing and reviewing US GAAP to IFRS conversions;Performing project management, including budgets and projections;Advising clients in the area of financial instruments, including derivatives, reporting and internal controls; andPreparing proposals for project presentations.Must have a CPA license or have passed all four parts of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination.Position requires approximately 80% travel.
