At Deloitte, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the end to end delivery of technology solutions in line with the strategic business objectives. Youshould be experienced in all aspects of project management covering initiation to deployment and follow-up. Work you ll doAs a Lead Project Coordinator, you willexecute and coordinate the delivery of the project initiatives within the Information Technology Services department on projects that are of small to moderate size and complexity, with typical budgets ranging from $10,000 - $100,000. You will also be responsible for:Communicate and spearhead the cross-functional project team formation, by task assignment and follows up to ensure on-time completion.Has responsibility for multiple project assignments, proactive project tracking of issues, risks and changes, assisting in issue resolution, financial reporting and communicating project progress as well as maintaining the project schedule and team site to reflect real-time progress. Responsible for effective project kickoff, identification of all project stakeholders, defines and clarifies project roles and responsibilities, and confirms necessary resources with all stakeholders. Works with the team and communicates project issue/risk escalations as needed to appropriate leaders.Participates in the regular project meetings led by the Product Owner or Project manager. Conducts regular project reviews and communicates the status of projects in both formal and informal settings. Responsible for knowing and communicating a project s status accurately throughout project lifecycle. Engages with team members and leaders outside of the meeting to proactively assist the team in meeting deliverable deadlines and mitigating risks and issues.Works with the Product Owner (and/or Project Manager, if assigned to support a Project Manager) to build and maintain comprehensive effort-driven project schedules using MS Project, meeting minutes, assists in communicating the plan and status of projects in both formal and informal settings, document issues, risks and any other project documentation on the project site including 2- minute updates, reports etc., as required by the project.Manages and supports the successful delivery of projects performed by the ITS Program Management Office (ITS PMO) by adhering to the project management methodologies and standards including those within the ITS Project Delivery Process and SDLC, PMI PMBOK and ITS PMO procedures. Utilizes, and supports key project management tools The teamMembers of our ITS team work behind the scenes, but are essential to the Deloitte organization. Our ITS team develop custom enterprise applications and provide IT infrastructure support to clients to ensure that they sustain a competitive advantage and stay ahead of the innovation curve. Our team has the analytical skills needed to parse mountains of data, the technical proficiency required to deliver custom solutions, and stellar communications skills needed to present research, discovery, and recommendations in logical and easily understandable ways.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. An advanced degree is also preferred.Minimum of 3 years of overall IT experience in large, enterprise-wide projects. Preferably should have spent the last 1-2 years in a Project Coordinator/Project Controller position.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project Professional 2013, Enterprise Project Management Tools, is required. Experience with other tools such as Visual Source Safe, SharePoint, will be a plus. Experience with core Microsoft Office Professional (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook) is highly desired.Must have in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycleAbility to manage several small or moderate projects simultaneously, while effectively assigning and managing work activities, meeting deadlines and producing accurate project management status reportingExperience with managing resource teams up to 5 or more people. Experience with managing teams that include offshore resourcesAble to maintain customer / client / sponsor satisfaction while also maintaining necessary project controlsExperience in developing project plans and schedulesCAPM Certification in Project Management considered a plus.
