Job Overview: Performs assigned duties in the areas of HVAC maintenance and general facility maintenance. Site consists of two buildings that houses general office space, call center space, and data center space. Mechanical equipment consists of central chilled water plants (3), air handlers, package units, CRAC/CRAH units and other specialized data center cooling systems. All preventive maintenance will be performed to manufacturer s recommendations. All tools required to perform job functions are supplied by Deloitte. Job Responsibilities: HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for the preventive maintenance of all site HVAC equipment by performing the majority of the PM activities and contracting the rest. This position will also be the primary contact to our contracted HVAC vendors.HVAC Mechanicwillperform a variety of facilities maintenance tasks withinthe Hermitage facility according to company operating and safety standards and ensure that service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.Tasks are to be assigned using computerized work order system and call dispatches through a company-provided PDA.Performs basic troubleshooting and repair of HVAC and plumbing systems.Will be required to document daily activities, i.e. work order resolution, equipment maintenance and repair activities, inventory tracking, warehouse activity, etc.Deliver items to and from off-site warehouse facility using company vehicles.Work closely with Deloitte Facilities technicians, One Team members, and contractors.Will have daily interaction with customers at all levels of the organization.Will be required to identify and use the proper tool(s) for a given task in a safe and effective manner.Complies with all applicable site specific and firm policies and procedures.This position will be required to work occasional overtime.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications: Must have at least 5 years experience in facilities maintenance.High school diploma or equivalent. Commercial mechanical (HVAC) experience is required.Universal Refrigerant Certificate required within six months of employment.Completion of trade school or equivalent hands on experience in the field of HVAC maintenance.Experience with building automation systems, especially Automated Logic experience is a plus.Must have a strong focus on quality, customer service and attention to detail.Basic computer skills are required.Operation and minor maintenance of a variety of hand and power tools, vehicles and power equipment.Must be able to climb ladders and access tight spaces.Can work independently or in a team situation.Ability to interpret blueprints is a plus.Must have a valid driver s license.Must be able to lift objects up to 80 lbs.Forklift experience is preferred.Must be a self-starter.Must be able to effectively communicate (written and verbal) in English.Project management skills a plus.
