M&A Finance Diligence and Integration Support Manager Are you a successful Finance Manager looking to employ a forward looking approach focusing on both firm strategy and operations? Do you want to put your strong background in project management, project planning and issue management to good use across a range of projects related to the firm s strategy and financial performance? Work You ll DoThe M&A Integration Support Manager role will work closely with the Finance & Administration organization throughout the lifecycle of an M&A transaction; from initial diligence and modeling, understanding target s accounting processes, integration planning and execution, to post-acquisition support and review. In this role, you must be able to identify the impacts of decisions and activities that effect the broader support organization. - Conduct in depth financial due diligence of the target s current financials and processes- Assess target s existing contracts to understand value of contracts, revenue recognized to date, billing status and outstanding balances- Understand target accounting process and systems that currently used to identify necessary process changes- Educate target on the accounting policy and financial issues as they relate to being under Deloitte.- Lead training and documentation initiatives; train new team members, educate clients on processes and systems as needed, develop training and reference materials - Work with Finance and IT in identifying necessary technology changes based upon insights gained from the Target. The TeamOur M&A Finance team plays a critical role as advisor to the CFO regarding the risks and key considerations related to each deal and as integration lead for ensuring a seamless financial transition. The team brings a mix of accounting, finance, Firm knowledge, project management and consultative skills sets to each deal in an effort to analyze, plan, execute and manage the finance aspects of the acquisition. We strive to deliver out of the box thinking and creative solutions as each deal is unique and brings new challenges to solve.Qualifications Required:- Significant amount of experience successfully playing a lead role in complex projects (e.g. M&A Transactions) under tight timeframes. You must be able to team with multiple stakeholders in order to drive projects to a successful completion. An operational mindset combined with strategic thinking, flexibility and executive presence are critical qualifications for this role. You will hold self and others accountable for ensuring that results are achieved without direct supervision; and you ll take action beyond formal job responsibility and set high expectations for self and others.- You will possess a flexible work style as the scope and variety of work will frequently change depending on the current portfolio and pipeline of transactions. - Some travel (about 15 - 25%) may be required given the hands-on nature of the role.
