Work you ll doThe Strategic Marketing Planner (SMP) drives strategy and planning for integrated marketing and communications campaigns for Deloitte s Risk and Financial Advisory business. This position will lead marketing on behalf of the Strategic and Reputation Risk market as well as marketing on behalf of other key priorities for the Advisory practice. The SMP will serve as a trusted marketing advisor to PPMD business leaders and key stakeholders, assuming responsibility for development of strategic marketing plans and oversight of supporting campaigns that communicate a clearly differentiated and distinctly different view of risk. The SMP will be responsible for building specific programs and utilizing innovative, go-to-market tools and approaches, bringing the full capabilities of the firm to bear to maximize reach and impact to the market. In conjunction with the Advisory Business Chief Marketing Officer (BCMO), develop, maintain, and drive prioritization of all marketing activities for specific areas of responsibility.With BCMO, and PPMD stakeholders as appropriate, vet requests for marketing support within areas of responsibility.Work with BCMO and stakeholders to initiate and support development of strategic marketing campaigns in support of priorities.Manage the overall portfolio of campaigns and activities to ensure proper prioritization and utilization of appropriate resources.Develop strategic briefs (business case) for prioritized marketing campaigns; drive approval process for campaigns with key leadership.Engage other SMPs to coordinate campaign activities and pull in other capabilities, as appropriate.Engage Campaign Management in execution of campaigns; oversee, in conjunction with Marketing Services, delivery of campaigns.Coordinate with Internal Communications around initiation and development of strategic marketing campaigns.Collaborate with PR team to drive media coverage when applicable.Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders, Marketing and Communications, and other areas of the business and the larger firm (e.g. Analyst Relations, Alliances).Plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns in conjunction with Campaign Management.Along with Marketing Services, develop metrics and KPIs to assess campaign success at the campaign, activity and channel levels to inform future campaign tactics.Serve as marketing advisor to key stakeholders within areas of responsibility assist with articulation of value propositions, develops marketing objectives in support of key priorities and serves as connection point across the firm.Bring innovative thinking and marketing practices to all marketing activities.
