Role descriptionDeloitte is a market leader in Global Workforce consulting, which is a key and strategic growth area for our business. You ll work as part of a multi-discipline team of industry, technology and analytics specialists to deliver transformation technology projects as part of a multi-million dollar investment to transform GES technology market offerings.As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the Technology Program Lead, subject matter experts / business leads, development teams around the world and third party vendors to deliver various solutions within optimised timelines. You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis to have a deep understanding of each project to ensure delivery goals are met and advise and escalate any anticipated challenges.LocationYou will be based in a Deloitte London office, however travel may be required to work with other teams around the globe.Role typeThis is a permanent role with a degree of flexibility. ResponsibilitiesProgram GovernanceMaintain and update program organization structure charts as requiredManage list of resources/stakeholders involved in program governanceRefine/Define roles and responsibilities Program Status ReportingPrepare and distribute regular status reports providing key stakeholders with correct, transparent, and timely program performanceSupport and create other Management reporting as required by the Program leadership Risks & Issues ManagementTrack and monitor status of risks and issuesManage escalation and resolution of risks and issues according to the defined standards or governance across the program and mitigate potential risk factors that have a material impact on the cost, scope, or timeline of the programCoordinate and facilitate accountability assignment on any significant unanticipated program-level issues, action items, and tasks to drive timely resolution/closure Work-plan ManagementManage the Integrated work plan including monitoring of inter-workstream dependenciesTrack appropriate reporting on progress against plan for the milestones in the work planManage consistent approach across all workstreams, with standard template and guidelines (e.g., organization of activities, granularity of task monitoring, resource loading/leveling, capturing internal and external interdependencies, marking of milestones, marking of deliverables, tracking of re-occurring activities, project plan reporting, etc.), on development and on-going management of project plans Scope ManagementCoordinate with release team to define high-level scope of the Program for each planning cycleAlign high-level Program scope with individual work-stream plans for Program deliveryPerform impact assessment for scope and delivery timing decisions with downstream impact across work-streams Vendor ManagementEnsure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligationsManage the interaction between vendors and internal program delivery teams to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs RequirementsAs an individual joining Deloitte, we would expect that you possess demonstrable knowledge and proven ability to deliver in the below areas:Human capital, global mobility technology experience is highly desirable but not essentialPrevious experience working for the Big 4 or other large consulting firm is desirable but not essentialKnowledge or experience of agile methodologiesPassion for delivering unique technology solutionsFamiliarity of release management You are here: TaxOur business spans the full range of tax activities and by integrating these specialist areas when forging a team for the client, we can deliver the best advice to that client, wherever in the worldthey operate.
