We provide many system integration, IT, strategy and Human Capital services to our State Health clients across the nation. We are looking to hire a sales executive with existing client relationships in the State Health space along with existing practical knowledge of this industry to help further our market presence around these services. The Team The Sales Center of Excellence (COE) supports Deloitte s businesses in uncovering, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities. Working hand-in-hand with Partners, Principals and Managing Directors, these sales executives focus their highly skilled efforts in securing relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process.What you ll do: The Sales Executive (SE) will:Develop leads, cultivate a targeted list of prospects and lead sales efforts within a targeted set of states working closely with Account and Practice leadersDrive new business for the State Health area, specifically MMIS, Data Warehouse and analytics, and long term care solutionsStrategically collaborate with Accounts and Practice leadership to position and sell our many IT, strategy and Human Capital servicesDevelop relationships and collaborate with Deloitte leadership to formulate and execute on a go-to-market strategy Understand the competitive landscape and client needs in order to effectively position our Human Services practice areas and Deloitte s consulting servicesIdentify and influence key decision-makers at all levels within the client organizationAssist account teams and practice leaders with qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunitiesPlay a leadership role/drive pursuits and contribute to the development of proposals and coach the team through orals preparation.Represent Deloitte by spending time in the field, and at conferences/policy forums.Develop strategic and tactical plans to meet or exceed sales objectivesMaintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data working with Sales Operations team Required Qualifications:At least 5-10 years of experience as a named account executive and/or business development manager serving State and Local clientsSignificant level of State Health experienceSignificant business development and executive relationship experience with a proven track record in selling consulting servicesUnderstand the professional service delivery processUnderstand how to develop go-to-market plan that targets the Health and Human ServicesStrong consulting, and Health and Human Services background. In-depth understanding of the Human Services industry and key business issuesDemonstrable ability to leverage pre-existing network of clients or contacts in the marketplaceProven ability to develop and secure relationships at all levels within a client organizationAbility to integrate, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in client pursuitsBring executive presence, poise and a commitment to superior quality in all aspects of workBachelor's degree requiredAbility to travel 50-70% of time Preferred Qualifications: Experience delivering engagements at some point within their career
