The Global Mobility team is responsible for end-to-end advisory support for all US deployment types (US inbound and outbound assignments and cross border engagement assignments). U.S. Global Office (USGO) Global Mobility (Deloitte LLP) leadership is seeking a Manager to support one or more of the following businesses: Tax, Advisory and Audit. Reports to: Global Mobility Business Advisor, Senior Manager Description of Responsibilities Examples of specific responsibilities include but are limited to:Supports the Business Advisor Lead with aligning and executing on Global Deployment Business-specific strategy and supports the facilitation of associated Global Mobility advisory needs for US and US India inbound and outbound assignments and cross border projects (CBP)Works under direction of Business Advisor Lead to provide advisory services for all US deployment types (US inbound and outbound assignments and CBPs) for a specific BusinessCollaborates and works closely with Business Advisor Lead, PPMD and Non-PPMD Employee Experience Support, and the CBP Employee Experience Support in support of delivering Business Advisory and Employee Experience services that are consistent with the Business Global Deployment StrategyExecutes consistent process hand-offs between Business Advisor and Employee Experience teams, including associated expectations and compliance by the BusinessProvides the portfolio of Business Leaders and Global Mobility Business Leader (and designees) with customized advisory service during the CBP and assignment lifecyclesEscalates complex issues to Business Advisor Lead, as requiredRaises Business Immigration day-to-day concerns / interests and / or process issues with Business Advisor Lead to determine next steps / escalation, as appropriateEscalates issues or exceptions for assignment and foreign nationals to Business Advisor Lead and supporting any required input with appropriate stakeholdersSupports Business Advisor Lead with:Business Global Deployment program, including the development of functional Global Deployment demand plans in conjunction with stakeholders in the Business such as the Global Mobility Business Leader, Business Global Office, Business CTO, etc. Advisory efforts for Business leaders on effective use of Global Mobility programs and strategies in support of the Business Global Deployment strategy and plans Partnering with the Business to customize functional Global Mobility programs, policies, and processes to support functional Business needs including acquisitions, JVs, DCs. Contributes to developing partnerships with various stakeholders to drive the successful execution of Global Mobility programsAdvisory and training efforts for Global Mobility teams and Deloitte stakeholders on the execution of functional Global Mobility strategic elements, as requiredAdopting available tools to advise the Business consistently to inform decision making (i.e., HYPO Budget template for assignments or DTTL Immigration Map for CBPs)Process for coordination of DTTL and / or other funding mechanism to support Mobility arrangements, coordinating required input from Business Global Mobility LeadersProcess for review validity of / actively provide guidance for strategic Mobility decisions of Business Leaders, coordinating required input from Business Global Mobility LeadersAnalyzing the Function business models and providing guidance to leadership and policy makers, as requiredDelivers end-to-end Business Advisory activities to support the Business for all deploymentsEngages Employee Experience team members to prepare them for owning the Assignee / Project Traveler experienceMakes recommendations to improve the Business Advisory team s approach, processes, and tools and shares with Business Advisor LeadDesired Skill Set:Global Mobility technical understanding (e.g., deployment structures, deployment lifecycle and processes, DTTL Policy and associated Business Drivers)Global Mobility service excellenceFinancial management and performanceStrategic thinkerStakeholder management and relationship buildingCollaboration and influencing skills needed to effectively advise Business Advisor Lead, peers, and the BusinessConsultative approach toward clientsCross cultural sensitivityAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentStrong analytical skillsCritical understanding of when to escalate matters for necessary leadership approvalFamiliarity of Deloitte s BusinessesExperience working in a multi-national, global team environmentTypically requires 7 to 10 years of directly related experience including subject matter expertise in human resources or mobility (preferred)Bachelor s degree or higher
