Strategic Analytics Manager Job Responsibilities: The Strategic Analytics group supports the US Firm across a range of projects related to the firm s strategy and financial performance. The Manager is responsible for executing strategic projects and analyses for both Finance Leadership and overall Firm Leadership. The individual will be responsible for leading projects, interacting with leaders, executing analyses, driving constructive arguments to fruition and preparing clear, concise and compelling presentations for leadership. The Strategic Analytics team typically supports and executes projects across the following areas: Leadership Analysis and Support supports Finance and Firm leaders with specialized analysis and support for leadership and management meetingsSpecial Projects- supports the Enabling areas and Functions in a variety of special projectsAdvanced Analytics utilizes complex analytical methods and tools to help leaders make more informed decisions on key business issues Financial Analysis, Modeling and Reporting drives complex analytical projects across the Enabling areas and FunctionsM&A and Investment Analysis supports the Corporate Development team with due diligence and PMO efforts for Finance and Enabling AreasScenario Planning works with the Strategy team in support of scenario planning projects and initiatives A successful manager should demonstrate an understanding of the U.S. Deloitte Entity businesses and their strategic priorities. The individual should employ a forward looking approach focusing on both firm strategy and operations. Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a technical discipline; Advanced degree is strongly preferred 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Strategy and Operations ConsultingRequires a strong knowledge of Finance and Financial AnalysisMust possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects.Experience developing leadership-level presentations from initial storyboarding to delivery.Executive presence is critical as this position will interact with leadership. Must have advanced computer knowledge with experience in standard software applications, data modeling, including SAP or other financial systems.Should be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, and within a team environment to significantly contribute to the success of the Strategic Analytics team.The ideal candidate must also possess a flexible work style. Similar to a client service position, the scope and variety of work will frequently change depending on the current portfolio of projects. Some moderate travel (up to 40%) will be required given the expected leadership interactions and the hands-on nature of the analyses. A US-based office location is required to enable this flexibility.
