Work You ll DoAlign global effective tax rate reduction and efficient global cash utilization with overall business strategy. Help multinational clients integrate tax planning into their overall business strategy and comply with both U.S. and international regulatory requirements. Review international tax compliance forms and informational returns, including Forms 1120F, 5471, 5472, 8865 and 8858, disclosures and statements. Utilizing tax software, including Corptax, Gosystem, ONESOURCE, and Superform. Review PFIC testing for foreign subsidiaries of large private equity funds or portfolio investment companies. Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations. Supervise the work of Tax Consultants. #LI-DNI RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Law or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Eighteen months of experience performing tax planning, reporting and compliance for U.S. multinational corporations.Experience must include eighteen months of:Reviewing and preparing international tax compliance forms and informational returns, including Forms 1120F, 5471, 5472, 8865 and 8858, disclosures and statements, and utilizing tax software, including Corptax, Gosystem, ONESOURCE, and Superform;Advising clients on various international tax issues including subpart F, overall foreign loss, dual consolidated loss, intercompany transfer, and developing optimal tax structures for corporate restructuring, corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions;Performing tax due diligence related to third party acquisitions, including reviewing documentation and historical tax positions of targeted company;Auditing client prepared work papers, including worldwide effective tax rate calculation, subpart F inclusion, foreign tax credit and deferred tax asset utilization capacity analysis;Utilizing tax research tools including BNA, CCH, and RIA Checkpoint to assist clients with international tax planning and restructuring;Performing and reviewing PFIC testing for foreign subsidiaries of large private equity funds or portfolio investment companies; andConducting research and analysis related to treaty qualifications to determine if intercompany payments, including dividends, royalties, and interest, are subject to reduced withholding tax rate.BenefitsAt Deloitte, we know that great people make a great organization.
