Work You ll DoProvide IT consulting services on behalf of a global consulting company. Advise clients and manage activities related to designing and implementing eCommerce platforms and enterprise portal solutions. Work closely with visual designers and front-end engineers to create wireframes and front-end codes for mobile and desktop applications aligned to the business needs of clients. Review activity and progress reports regarding activities for multiple work streams. Lead all aspects of the proposal development process by developing proposal pricing strategies, conducting feasibility studies, performing time and cost estimations, and establishing and implementing new or revised application architecture based on client needs. Manage project deliverables for all phases of the software development lifecycle. Review source codes to validate the implementation of the system design to meet the project standards. Oversee the assessments of existing software systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations. Deliver functional and technical training sessions to new hires and junior staff members. Supervise team members in creating project charters, defining project tasks, schedules and plans, and in allocating resources using Microsoft Project. Responsible for translating business requirements into functional and technical system requirements by participating in joint application requirement (JAR) sessions with project groups and stakeholders. Create use cases and process flow diagrams using IBM Rational Requirements Composer, IBM Rational Team Concert, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Excel. Review functional design based on system requirements by creating screen mockups and user interface (UI) storyboards utilizing HTML, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Handle the configuration of technical and functional specifications, including UI specifications, flows, logic diagrams, data models, UML process models and pseudocode by leveraging HTML, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, C, C , Oracle Database and Oracle Policy Automation. Review reported issues for web-based applications, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and serve as a liaison between end-users and the technical team by utilizing IBM Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System, JIRA and JAMA.
