This position is responsible for nationwide management of Corporate Citizenship special projects and market delivery, as well as strong understanding and relationships for a social impact advisory role in the Boston market. What you ll do:As a Corporate Citizenship Manager, Special Projects & Impact Delivery, you will be responsible for:Working closely with the Programs and Marketplace teams to bridge program development and delivery across the firm by identifying needs for communication, collaboration, and connection.Acting as a key liaison to new programs including Impact Ventures, Impact Leader Volunteer program, nationwide or global NPO strategic relationships, and skills-based volunteering programs with the accountability to ensure programs have tools, plans, and teams in place for maximum reach across the firm.Building and managing strategic non-profit and community-based relationships that support Deloitte s Corporate Citizenship strategy and focus on building trust and open communication.Understanding how to use data and analytics to make decisions and recommendations.Directing Corporate Citizenship activities that strategically position the firm with key organizations and stakeholders in the marketplace. Serving as a strategic advisor to MP/market leadership to connect the dots on relationships and investments.Cultivating local community networks and developing/supporting opportunities for strategic volunteer and leadership engagement.Managing program delivery in specific markets remotely as identified by leadershipPromoting programs and initiatives using multiple communication channels. We drive impact through our signature national issues: education, veterans, and through pro bono and other key programs such as board service opportunities and Impact Day. We also work alongside the many other social impact programs and projects within Deloitte.Corporate Citizenship is a function within our Market Development organization and a key part of our global commitment to corporate responsibility. QualificationsRequired:7 years of prior, relevant volunteering, giving or other program management with a company or nonprofit or community organization, preferably in a managerial capacityUndergraduate degree required, ideally with a focus in marketing, communications, business or a related fieldExcellent communication, collaboration and relationship development skills a priorityProven ability to contribute to Corporate Citizenship program execution: Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, consistently delivering high quality resultsIntermediate knowledge of corporate social responsibility and social impactExperience creating and organizing large-scale volunteer events, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneouslyAbility to build and work in collaborative and virtual networksAbility to quickly navigate a large, multi-level professional services structureFamiliarity with Boston-based community organizations, programs and nonprofit groupsSuperior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support communications efforts; knowledge of Internet navigation, research and Outlook distribution lists Preferred:Advanced degree in business, communications, public administration or socialsciences How you ll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
