Work You ll Do:The Pre-Sales Solution Architect is a trusted advisor to Deloitte sales teams and provides functional and technical subject matter expertise on Deloitte Products and Solutions managed analytics platform. This role is critical to driving and managing the sales process, working in conjunction with sales and Deloitte Consulting practice personnel as the key technical advisor and product advocate. The Pre-Sales Solution Architect must be able to communicate effectively both at the analytics technology and analytics business levels. He/she must be able to help Deloitte Consulting teams to craft the right managed analytics technology solution for a given project, and the support the teams as they sell the solution to their clients. The Pre-Sales Solution Architect role will be deeply involved with sales, pricing, demo creation, solution design, market feedback, product roadmap development, and a wide range of other activities designed to drive adoption in the market. Sales Process Support Deloitte sales teams throughout the Sales process for the managed analytics platform Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs Create and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations Lead technical deep dive conversations with current and prospective customers Respond to in-depth customer questions and inquiries Understand customer needs and recommend/price optimal solution Document customer configuration requirements, to aid in solution definition and implementation SOW Product Demonstration Develop and deliver product demos to internal and external audiences Create and maintain the demo environment(s), including data, technology configurations, etc. Author and maintain demo script Market Feedback Work with Product Management to gather customers business challenges, product needs, and customer requirements Represent the product to internal and external audiences at events such as conferences, tradeshows, and seminars Perform competitive research and share with product teamThe TeamThe P&S practice is an organization within Deloitte Consulting whose goal is to build a culture of continuous innovation to drive profitable revenue through the identification and incubation of breakthrough ideas in IP assets-based businesses and markets.The iLab, based in Atlanta, GA, is the technical development hub for the P&S practice focused on creating cloud-based software and advanced analytics products and platforms.Qualifications: 7-10 years of relevant experience Bachelor s degree, preferably in engineering or MIS 3 plus years experience in SaaS sales 3 plus years experience going technical, pre-sales, product demos Experience working with SQL and/or Tableau Strong experience with data analytics and data integration Basic knowledge and ability to write script required Proven success presenting technology as business solution Proven success selling in complex, enterprise sales environments to both technical and business buyers Able to deliver effective presentations or demonstrations in time constrained situations Strong selling and sales aptitude Strong business acumen and presentation skills Well versed in Microsoft office Highly motivated, self-starter and goal-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and follow-up skills Willingness to travel 50-75% How you'll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
