Work You ll DoResponsible for all aspects of project development and implementation of Oracle JD Edwards Distribution and Logistics modules and technology-enabled solutions for clients. Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables. Define project scope and objectives. Interface with management and business stakeholders to train end users, gather requirements from business, identify business gaps, and build process flowcharts. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conduct project meetings and perform analysis to track project development from original concept through final implementation, including business analysis, developing reports, testing, configuring applications, and preparing functional specifications. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. Oversee team responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle JD Edwards ERP modules, including Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Transportation Management, Purchase Order Management, Service Rental Management, and Intercompany Processing. Manage the testing of new interfaces, including Forms cape, DSI, Endeca, Hyperion, and Acorde, with Oracle JD Edwards systems. Lead team in preparing functional specification designs for Sales, Inventory, Intercompany, Procure to Pay module enhancements and custom solutions in Oracle JD Edwards. Oversee team responsible for designing test strategies, preparing test scripts, and performing unit and integration testing. Guide team in developing and executing cutover strategy to extract and migrate data from clients legacy systems to new systems and providing go-live support. Manage team in preparing design books and Oracle User Productivity Kits (UPK) to facilitate knowledge transfer. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Provide a single point of contact for those projects.
