Work You ll DoManage and lead project teams providing IT business management consulting services to government clients, including IT service delivery, IT service improvement, and IT services support. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, including the definition of project scope and objectives. Provide a single point of contact for these projects, and take projects from original concept through final implementation by developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Lead project meetings, provide technical and analytical guidance to project team members, and ensure quality and standards are met on all client deliverables. Utilize the Project Management Lifecycle to manage the performance of key tasks on projects across developing countries and oversee compliance of project activities with all US government regulations, including contracts negotiations consistent with local laws, compliance of project activities with government regulations, subcontractor and vendor management, procurement of goods and services, schedule management, financial management and client billing. Guide teams transferring knowledge and building the capacity of government officials on key sectors of development, including Renewable Energy, Public Financial Management, Democracy and Governance, and Information Communication Technology. Direct the implementation of development technologies, including FreeBalance Financials, Virtual Computing, and Client Server Environments, in emerging market countries leveraging scalable and sustainable information systems. Oversee the evaluation of data, conducting of industry research, and assessing of market reports to develop benchmarking tools with data visualization front ends and macroeconomic financial models to enable improved reporting against established benchmarks and results frameworks. Supervise the generation of operational metrics and financial analysis utilizing Excel macros, pivot tables, and SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
