Title: Lead Federal Security Specialist (CL4)Location: Arlington, VA General Description: Leads projects supporting segment-based contract security requirements for Federal Practice Classified, Intelligence and Controlled Unclassified Information mission areas. Act as SME and leverages deep subject matter knowledge in one or more security disciplines (e.g. contract/program security, personnel security, physical security, privacy, and/or information security). Provides support with evaluation, design, and refinement of security-related business processes, metrics, and products to improve overall Federal Security mission performance. Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities 1. Coordinates on-going contract security requirements for federal client engagements over the contract lifecycle. Interacts with Engagement senior leadership to assess risk, provide oversight and solve problems.2. Develops and documents security procedures and security education and awareness materials to meet specific compliance requirements both contract-related and service needs. Maintains knowledge management repositories.3. Oversees and facilitates deployment of client-service staff against engagements that have personnel security requirements. Monitors required database inputs and assists with vetting procedures and prioritization of staffing actions.4. Performs periodic inspections to ensure security files and documents are maintained as required by relevant Federal security policies and regulations.5. Develops and delivers security awareness training to Federal staff and leadership on various security disciplines/topics as requested by the client.6. Provides segment-specific support to review, provide questions and submit security requirements in support of federal proposals. Supports activities to facilitate on-boarding of personnel as well as training engagement teams regarding contract security requirements.7. Audits and oversees daily operations and implementation of required security solutions to meet both compliance requirements and future client offerings. 8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Position-specific Required Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and associated regulations and other Government-associated security regulations; Intelligence Community Directives (ICSs /for Intel contracts' oversight) and client culture and requirements within the Public Trust mission area regarding personnel, information and information systems security (e.g., FISMA, Privacy) required. Knowledge of OPM s Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) and/or OPM Personnel Investigation Processing System (PIPS) preferred. Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements: Facility Security Officer certification (DSS) and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) certifications; Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, CIPP/G, ISP) Education & Experience Bachelor s Degree; minimum of 5 years of related experience Logistics:Rosslyn, VALocal travel may be required. Security Clearance:Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a TOP SECRET government security clearance (potential need for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access, dependent upon location assigned).
