Interns will develop knowledge about Deloitte s business through exposure to Deloitte s Federal Prime and Subcontracts Groups. They will have the opportunity to develop professional skills by assisting professionals with day-to-day activities as well as supporting high visibility special projects. Deloitte will provide the management support and tools that interns need to make an impact and hone business skills. As an intern, each participant will work with diverse groups of professionals, and gain first-hand exposure to the tools, processes, and services Deloitte provides to clients. Work you ll doAs an intern, each participant will be challenged with varied and moderately complex duties spanning the full life cycle of contracts. At the conclusion of the internship, each participant will have the opportunity to review his/her performance with senior management.Sample responsibilities/tasks include: Review and analysis of commercial and federal contract terms and conditions Support prime and subcontract negotiation Perform vendor research and analysis Support planning and execution of enterprise-wide spend analysis Support request for quote analysis and proposal development Create and deliver Power Point presentations summarizing business issues to senior leadership Support compliance readiness activities The teamDeloitte provides exceptional client service and works to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. QualificationsRequired: College student at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree Business, supply chain management, contracts law, or other business related disciplines Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment Proficient using Microsoft Office applications Must be a US citizen or a Greencard holderPreferred: Strong academic track record (minimum 3.3 GPA) How you ll growThroughout the internship program, we want to give you a true taste of life at Deloitte.
