Our Regulatory & Compliance team helps Federal clients implement and operate their regulatory and compliance programs to preserve the reputation and public trust of the agency. Work you ll do As a Manager within our Regulatory & Compliance team, you will:Implement, transform and support the operation of compliance programs across industry sectors, including financial services, healthcare, and energy and resourcesHelp Federal agencies identify and combat risks related to anti-money laundering, financial crimes and terrorist financingOrganize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projectsActively participate in the development of business and vendor relationshipsParticipate and lead aspects of the proposal development processResponsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plansManages day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte teamDisplays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issuesDisplays leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutionsProvide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staffActively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process The Team Transparency, innovation, collaboration, sustainability: these are the hallmark issues shaping Federal government initiatives today. Qualifications Required:Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field4 years of relevant consulting or industry experience2 years in a technical or functional lead roleExperience mentoring and coaching othersProven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExperience managing senior-level client relationshipsExperience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role PreferredPrevious Federal ConsultingAdvanced Degree in related fieldCPA, CAMS, and/or CFE certificationKnowledge of financial statement audit, forensic accounting and/or risk modelingExperience working in regulatory compliance programs and/or investigative environmentFamiliarity with CMS accountable care models, including the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP), Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (Pioneer ACO) Model, and the Next Generation ACO Model (NGACO)Familiarity with U.S. government health care programs; Medicare and MedicaidFamiliarity with U.S. government regulating agencies and guidance: OIG, DoJ, CMSDemonstrated advanced understanding of compliance programs, compliance audit and monitoring tools and methodologies, federal guidance and regulations for health care, and internal compliance controlsConsulting experience in support of any of the following health care areas: business process improvement, internal audit, compliance, compliance risk assessment, audit and monitoring, enterprise risk managementFamiliarity with reviewing and assessing business contractsBackground and interest in regulatory compliance Skills & Abilities:Strong critical thinking to apply knowledge of CMS and ACO models to NGACO policy development and compliance activitiesExcellent attention to detail, particularly when reviewing government furnished information and comments to develop deliverables such as SOPs and review contracts for compliance with specific requirementsIdentify and evaluate complex business risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvementUnderstand complex business processesCapable of developing tools and methodologies used for compliance audits and ongoing monitoringCapable of assisting in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support project effectiveness and efficiencyUnderstand clients business environment and basic risk management approachesExcellent professional oral and written communicationsExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to comfortably interact and be virtually present (role could be full-time on-site or may be remote) Location:Based out of Rosslyn & Baltimore area (CMS)East Coast location preferred; May be virtualHow you ll grow At Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
